I'm amazed to find authentic Vietnamese food in NSB. This cheerful eatery is much needed burst of flavor in the land of bland restaurants. I ordered 3 items with complex and thoughtful flavors: briny, nutty, sweet, salty, umami.... The first two: shrimp salad rolls and the lotus salad, had not only great flavor but also wonderful textures with crunchy lettuce, pickled vegetables & peanuts contrasting tender shrimp and noodles. The third, a rice vermicelli bowl, failed on texture with overcooked noodles, but still won on flavor, especially with the toasty-grilled shrimp. My friend ordered pho, and the broth won us over with its rich, meaty, Chinese five spice infusion, however his noodles were also on the too-soft side. Rice noodles are easy to overcook, but chef, take note- we noticed. We finished with a mango "mousse", which again won on flavor but failed on texture: a little hard and slightly rubbery, but I can't say I didn't eat it all up. I hoped for a bigger wine list or maybe some specialty cocktails- maybe it's possible for the future? I will try it again soon and hope for better noodle texture. Meanwhile, let's hear it for the excellent flavors we tasted tonight!

Fantastic food. The service was great. I stayed on Flagler for 3 days, found this place on the last day. Wish I would have found it sooner. I was so sick of eating burgers and fried foods at the other restaurants, this place has great healthy options with big portions. It's new, clean, cool ambiance, and not too pricey. It's a little hidden, right next to the Hampton inn. A must try!!

What a wonderful new gem! A sweet family owns this new restaurant. The Tuna Poke was excellent and I heard lots of buzz about the spring rolls and Asian chicken wings. street side dining as well as comfortable inside seating. Very hospitable staff.

Had lunch here and loved the food. Mango salad was amazing. We ordered for 3 of us also chicken wings, fried rice and chicken and the Asian rolls. All was delicious. Will return. Clean place and good service.

There are few places when searching for a unique and authenticate place to gourmet dine that when you walk through the door that you know you have found a gem. The comfortable decor of Asian art and attentive staff complimented a wide array of dishes prepared with nothing but fresh ingredients and knowledgeable care. The best Vietnamese dining in Volusia county by far.

Recently visited NSB with my wife and we made our first visit to Garden Fusion and we're glad we did. The food itself is a mix of aromas and textures, enriched with a blend of cultures, a feast for the taste . Just add the combination of excellent Customer Service and Personal Attention of Ms Kim Chow and you have an amazing dinning experience. I'll definitely recommend this restaurant to all my friends.!

This place was delicious! I was in New Smyrna for a short vacation and decided to check out this place. The pho was phenomenal and the noodles were fantastic. I also had the lobster Rangoon and the pot stickers. Great start to the meal!

My husband and I went here for lunch today. I wish I could say that the experience was fantastic, but I can't. Our service was terrible. We were disappointed since there are so many great reviews. After being seated we waited quite awhile before our drink order was taken. At that point we just ordered. When our food was served we had to ask for our drinks and silverware after being served. I immediately noticed I needed a spoon for my Pho and called after our server. He did not hear me so I had to go inside and request a spoon. Our server never checked on us and we had to ask for the check. Tables around us were left dirty and empty. Hoping it was just a bad day for them. We will not go back. I was pleased with my Pho my husband felt his meal was ok.

Had lunch there today, just got to New Smyrna Beach from Chicago yesterday. Had heard about AA Garden Fusion and wanted to try it. It is awesome Vietnamese food. Wonderfully prepared, great flavors and great balance. The place is small but very nice. Service is great. Menu is not extensive like many Asain restaurants but offers a variety of very good choices. We will definitely go back very soon.

Poke bowl was great. Sauce had really nice flavor and ginger was not overpowering. Spring rolls really good too. Nice mellow atmosphere on patio. Lots of sake choices.

Decided to it a try for lunch and glad we did. We were warmly greeted by our server immediately I decided on the cabbage with chicken salad. It was delicious, fresh and deliciously seasoned. My husband opted for the a noodle soup with meatballs which he loved. It was a side of beans sprouts, shiracha and housin sauce to season accordingly to one's taste. The chef and server checked on us as well. I look forward to our next visit.

We loved it! Sat at the bar and were served wonderfully and the spring rolls were outstanding. Great atmosphere!

  • Jeremy C.

I had the fresh spring rolls and they were delish, but since they cut them in half they need to be rolled tighter. I struggled to eat them comfortably and I noticed a another customer having same problem. Also had the Ahi Poke bowl and my only complaint was the cold rice was too dry and hard, needs to be fresh and moist. I am Hawaiian and eat rice with every meal, so good judge. Poke quality is good though and avacado do is nice touch. Definitely wort a try!!

Great value great food and energetic staff, we couldn't ask for anything more!

We ate here for the first time. Everything we ate was delicious. Nicely decorated and its right on Flagler Ave. The service was great and the staff very friendly. The owner even came and chatted for a bit with us. I would definitely eat here again.

Started out with the dumplings. They Brought me back to the Chinatown in NYC days. Had the poke for the entree. Very fresh and well marinated. They have very good pho also.

We looked up best restaurants in NSB and this was one of them. I checked reviews on trip advisor and yelp and decided to go for it. It did not disappoint. From the taco Poke we shared as an appetizer. ..amazing. He had the Pan seared Salmon and I had tofu curry. No words to describe this ecstacy. The. The dessert. ...OMG creme Brule and white chocolate ice cream. You will not be disappointed. Lastly the staff is friendly and amazing.

Yay! I love Vietnamese food and this place is very good. The menu is limited but they've included many of the basics. Fresh spring rolls are very good, though the peanut sauce was a bit heavy on the fish sauce and light on spice. I had the pork, egg roll bun (vermicelli) and it was tasty and the meat perfectly browned with that slightly sweet flavor. Again it was lacking spice and although the nam pla served with the dish was good it could have used a bit more along with some spicy garlic chili sauce. Tofu yellow curry with jasmine rice was delicious. This restaurant is so new and they have some room to grow. For instance I've never been to a Vietnamese restaurant that didn't have condiments on the table. The Vietnamese use Siracha, hoisin, chili garlic and fish sauces quite freely and it would be nice to have a condiment tray on each table. Also a fill set of silverware should be given to each diner instead of a single fork. I think the service though friendly is still learning to work together. And finally the atmosphere, I think you won't find a more pleasant, pretty and clean place any where else in town. Even the music was perfect. I'll definitely be going back and recommending it to my friends, such a lovely addition to Flagler.

Fresh and authentic Vietnamese food and we have been there. Family owned business and they take pride in pleasing their customers. Friendly waiter. Outdoor seating in front and rear (rear was delightful) ad well as indoors. Located next to Hampton Inn near beach. We'd definitely go back.

AA Garden Fusion is delicious! The entire menu is spot on. Some of my favorites at the Chicken Pho and any noodle dish. My kids love the poke bowl. The owner and the servers go above and beyond to make if a great experience! We have been going since the first week they opened and have always had a perfect meal!

  • Gail R.

Our meal was our favorite that we've had in NSB!! We've been here for a month and eaten out ALOT!! We had the potstickers to start, my husband had the salmon and I had the spicy shrimp dish. Both were excellent!! We can't wait to go back!

    (5)
  • Bryon W.

AA Garden Fusion may be the best restaurant in NSB. The food is consistently wonderful, especially the Vietnamese dishes, which are cooked up by the the owner or his family. But if Phō isn't your thing, there are a plethora of creative and tasty dishes to he had. The curry is dynamite, and like most places in NSB, they offer a poke bowl, which is arguably the best in town. The service is attentive, and the owner's pride beams through every aspect of this restaurant.

So great! We started with Tofu wraps..... Awesome! My husband loved the flavor of the pho! I had curry tofu and it was great! Our new spot for sure!

Tonight was the first time I dined at AA Fusion Garden. Owned by a lovely, gracious family who put their best effort into providing a wonderful dining experience. The service was good but the food was even better. I had the Pho which was excellent. Finished off with delicious cantaloupe ice cream.

OUTSTANDING! EQUALLY as good as any west coast Asian Fusion Restaurant! Shrimp dish full of flavor and Salmon was wonderful. What a gem right here in NSB!

Brought my family of 5 under advisement of a separate family member. Walked into a clean inviting environment. Got seated got menus and became skeptical because of the limit of choices. Stayed anyway. It should be noted that my kids are 7,9 and 17. We all made choices the food came very quickly. We all started eating and we were extremely pleased. The portions were perfect size and taste was perfect to match. We went for lunch and the next time we go it will be for dinner and will bring friends.

This Vietnamese restaurant is the best in the area. Spring rolls and grilled pork noodles were authentic and fresh. Glad they are in the area.

  • Andrew B.

My wifey and I found this spot during a surf trip. So yummy! The flavors are very delicate and palatable. Poke bowl is awesome. Stir fry noodles were flavorful and not dry like some places. Grilled pork dish was tender and wifey had no complaints!! :) The staff is very friendly and created a great experience. It was nice to find an Asian spot to feed our ravenous bellies after surfing and being in the sun. They even grow their own herbs behind the store! Organic teas for the win!!

  • Scott L.

Clean and friendly! I have been several times and tried several of the dishes they offer. Good summer rolls, good Pho. Needs more condiments on tables. It is a good start, I hope they don't become complacent! The menu needs to expand. Not too sure how a Vietnamese restaurant can survive without Bahn-Mi. It's a must in my book!!! Glad to have Garden Fusion on Flagler Ave, but I am tired of driving to Daytona or waiting for the food trucks from Orlando that come to N.S.B. every now and then for Bahn-Mi.

  • Alexa S.

Went with our 4 year old. She ate the entire order of chicken satay herself. One of THE BEST lobster Rangoon I have ever had. Poke taco very tasty, did not have an unhappy person at the table. Only criticism was that the pho broth was sweet...? I am used to clean, plain, mild broth, so just not what I am used to. Great and friendly service. Fresh food, delish.

My husband & I have lived in NSB for 14 years and with the added growth of this sweet seaside community there are also many new restaurants. We decided to go to the newest one that is Vietnamese. We love ethnic food and so happy to see this added to Flagler Ave. I have to say that the colors of the building are so bright and cheery as the servers were. The food that we ordered was like having a party going on for our taste buds! We started off sharing the Lotus Salad which tasted so fresh! My husband had the Pho Noodle Chicken Soup Spicy! He said it was the best he has ever had. I had the Poke Taco! Sushi grade yellow tuna in a poke sauce and more! I would say this is not a typical old school Vietnamese restaurant but with a fresh kick to the menu and fusion! You pay for what you get and we got quality and we think it is priced fair. We wish them luck as we will be back!

The food is amazing and the workers are all very nice, helpful and pleasant. We have been there several times and enjoyed it very much. The spring rolls were the best I've had anywhere! The prices are very reasonable for what you get. We can't wait until it gets cooler so we can sit outside. We're very glad this restaurant is close.

Visiting NSB quite often we have found an abundance of above average options in the area from Ocean's to the wonderful Crabby Chris's Crab Shack. I will say this restaurant is another to add to the must visit here in town. The brand new looking building painted in a "sunny day yellow" is a welcome sight. So is the ample parking in the back the restaurant. As you walk up, the level of attention the proprietors put into the location is apparent. The modern take on a Vietnamese restaurant does a great job of marrying Nuvo accents with traditional themes. To be honest, for a couple brief moments during the meal I felt like I was in New York. Seating is available both outside and inside, but on this particular night only inside was an option with the rain outside. Once we walked inside we were immediately met smiling, attentive staff looking to cater to our need. They just asked for a minute to put together a table for the 6 of us. They made short work of the task and sat us. No sooner had we reached our seat, then we were being handed menus and asked for a drink order. The drink menu is well appointed with domestic and foreign beers, red and white wines as well as some sake. Our server while EXCELLENT on the whole, did not have enough understanding of this menu. When I asked him if he had a daigingo, he was not aware. Any restaurant that is serving sake, should give their servers a basic breakdown o0n the levels of sake. No patter I ordered a Sapporo, which served me very well through the meal. To start Once the drink, and single app order was out of the way we moved to feeding our ravenous group. We ordered the; chicken wings, mango salad, saracha shrimp, meatball and steak pho, and the chicken and rice. Here is a review of all of them. A M A Z I N G. The pho was as traditional with wonderful flavors that where as deep as the bowl. The chicken wings were sweet with a honey flavor that popped off the tongue. Mango salad was a mix of julian vegetable and fruit with steamed shrimp - maybe one of the best dishes I have ever had in a Vietnamese restaurant. Overall, a must try - even now in their soft opening. Until my next pho-fun - dine fine.

The food is excellent here. We visited twice this week and had the spring rolls, lobster Rangoon, pot stickers and the chicken stir fry. It's a perfect break from the burgers and fried fish at all the restaurants in the area. The servers are friendly and efficient. The out door seating adds to the atmosphere with great people watching. Definitely a 5 star experience.

The owner and her little daughter were there the first time I ate there. They made the experience delightful. Very friendly and personable. The food is outstanding. One of my favorites is seaweed salad, but I had never had such a delicious one. "Freshness", replied the owner. I had some summer rolls, so refreshing, with shrimp. The next visit I had to try the poke bowl. I'd never heard of that. If you haven't, it's sushi without the rolls and seaweed. There's a lovely poke sauce poured over the rice, veggies and shrimp or whatever you picked. Not a lot, but just enough and iit is flavorful. I am definitely going back there again when I go to New Smyrna Beach. It wouldn't be good for a large group.

We initially discovered AA Garden Fusion on a rainy, chilly December evening because it was the shortest walk from the adjacent Hampton Inn where we had been staying. Given the weather, I opted for the Pho, which was delightfully aromatic and complex. I enjoyed it so much that it was my perennial order on several repeat visits. Since then, I have branched out on my menu choices and have always been delighted with the outcomes. AA Garden Fusion reinvents many Asian classics without ever straying too far from their time-honored origins. AA Garden Fusion is a welcome addition to New Smyrna Beach. Returned again on Sunday evening and enjoyed the Mango Salad (another new favorite) and the Pho. One table mate had the Poke Bowl, the other had the Poke Tacos. Raves on both. Service was congenial and efficient.

Do not leave without trying the Mochi !!! It's a dessert they offer, and it's absolutely delicious. Our waitress was a delight, very kind and attentive. Not to mention, my date's and my dish were cooked to perfection.

I have eaten here many times now and have always enjoyed the food. This is a family run restaurant and the heart and flavor of the owners are apparent in their dishes. Last night our party had Curry, stir fry noodles, betel leaf wrapped beef lettuce wraps, and spicy wings. All delicious with just the right amount of spice. Service is very good , also. Knowledgeable and attentive. A big plus is they also take reservations, almost unheard of in NSB. This is a must try if you have not been yet.

After a great meal last year, brought the kiddos for dinner tonight and they loved it too ! The kids loved the pot stickers and fried rice while my mother in law enjoyed a curry, the wife had Pho and I devoured a mixed noodle dish. Spring rolls were fresh and delicious too - really enjoyed the atmosphere and service and plan a visit on our next trip to NSB.

I don't go often to Vietnamese restaurants, but I wanted to stay away from burgers, fries, wraps and other regular items while visiting New Smyrna Beach. This is a nice house turned into a restaurant that due to its vibrant colors and ambiance, invites one to try what they have in the menu. I had the opportunity to appreciate three items: - Steak and meatball Phone: 7/10. It was good, but here in Jacksonville FL we have a restaurant called Bowl of Phone that serves this same Phone but with much better flavor, and with more vegetables to add to it. - Sriracha Lime Shrimp: 8/10, nice dish with a very nice seasoned jumbo shrimp. - Asian Fusion Salmon: 9/10, indeed they know how to prepare the salmon. I noticed that it was fresh, very well seasoned. I had a nice lunch here. Vietnamese cuisine is said "is greatly admired for its fresh ingredients, minimal use of oil, and reliance on herbs and vegetables...is considered one of the healthiest cuisines worldwide". Wikipedia. Hey! I even feel better now writing this review! Definitely enjoyed my time here. I was full and satisfied, but not overwhelmed like one feels after having eaten a big burger, lots of fries, and a extra large soda.

The restaurant scene in New Smyrna Beach is really coming into it's own with the introduction of AA Garden Fusion. This recently refurbished piece of NSB history was amazingly transformed into a beautiful restaurant with a great vibe and the owners are really making their mark in the area. It's very refreshing to walk into a local family owned business where the focus is on the customer and the cuisine and it's that simple. Once you walk through the doors it's apparent that you will have a great experience the service is outstanding and very attentive. They have created a menu that crosses over several cultures ensuring anyone dining here will find something they can enjoy. The restaurant's decor instills a sense of calmness and relaxation which is exactly what a beachside restaurant of this caliber should do. There are very few restaurants in the area that allows you to enjoy a great meal in a quality environment. We ordered the vegetable and pork pot stickers to start they were filled with fresh ingredients and pan fried perfectly very simple but delicious. Entrees included shrimp curry with white rice extra spicy of course but they will accommodate your palate so don't hesitate to ask. The flavors of the curry exploded in my mouth the combination of spices paired with fresh shrimp and sweet potatoes created one of the best curries I've eaten in sometime. The texture was amazing the portion was perfect. Next came the Chicken Pho in a very large bowl filled with a savory broth with a hint of sweet fragrances that I couldn't completely identify add in the fresh cut Thai Basil and the assortment of bean sprouts, jalapeño peppers etc and you've created your own custom bowl of happiness. Over-all a great experience and it was so nice to meet the owners and feel their compassion for the food, the customers and the community we definitely will be regulars here.

What a great addition to the area! Starting with the decor it had a nice clean interior and area for dining outside as well. The owner and his wife personally came over to our table and both were lovely! Now to the food - we ordered a variety of appetizers including the seaweed salad which was the standout for me. Main courses we ordered the Pho (chicken this evening), shrimp stir fry, poke tuna taco, grilled chicken and rice and the shrimp taco. Everything was very good with the standouts being the pho broth (crucial to any good noodle bowl) and the grilled chicken. All in all a wonderful and unexpected dining experience while visiting my family.

  • Lori O.

Agree with all of the other reviews. The setting is lovely. Even on a hot August night we were able to sit outside due to the multiple fans which kept us cool. We had the shrimp spring rolls, the poke tacos and the Singapore noodles. The favors were fantastic - fresh, bright and complex. My only complaint is that the dipping sauce for the spring rolls was way too thick - and cloyingly sweet. We ended up using sriracha sauce instead. We would definitely come back!

I love this place. The food, the service, everything. I plan work trips to this area and stay at the hotel next door just so I can eat here. The pho is amazing. The flavors are perfect.

I love everything about AA Garden Fusion. The restaurant is delightfully decorated and has a nice variation in seating options including a front patio area for lunch, inside dining area, and an outside dining area in the back for dinner. They are dog friendly too. Our server was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. We knew what we wanted, but she helped confirm that we were making delicious choices. My wife and I ordered the Grilled Chicken Noodle Salad and the Poke Tacos. I couldn't resist tacking on a side order of Kimchi for $2. As the AA Fusion name implies the food is a fusion of different cultures with a dominant Asian theme. The Poke Tacos were absolutely out of this world delicious! The Poke was made from beautiful cuts of yellowfin tuna and marinated to traditional Hawaiian perfection. The seaweed salad, napa cabbage and guacamole came together in magical fashion. The cabbage provided a nice texture contrast against the tuna, and the guac provided a nice richness. These little bites of perfection were wrapped in a grilled tortilla and drizzled with a yogurt cilantro sauce. My side order of Kimchi was equally delicious. I don't have a lot of Korean food options near me, so this was a nice treat. My wife's Grilled Chicken Noodle Salad represented AA Fusion's riff on a traditional Vietnamese bun. Their version lacks the dominant licorice flavor of Thai basil that I've had in other buns, but adds larger chunks of fresh cut veggies such as onion, carrots and daikon. The chicken was very tender and had a nice, fresh grilled flavor. The fish sauce was delightful and perfectly balanced. This was another well executed dish. Between our two meals and the side dish of kimchi we were well fed as our taste buds danced between Hawaiian, Vietnamese, Korean and Mexican inspired flavors. We loved this place and can't wait to go back. Everything about our experience was superb.

This place is delicious. The food was very fresh and tasty. The place, at first, appeared expensive but the portion size was large. We had the poke taco and spring rolls and everything was spot on. The service was very friendly, but maybe a tad slow. Although we were not concerned by it because the atmosphere was nice and it gave us time to talk and chat up the service, which is always fine. This place tastes great and is a good value. We highly recommend.

Love the stir fried noodles!! Mango Salad is so fresh and delicious. Pho is full of flavor and complexity. Our favorite spot in NSB for a fast and casual meal. Everything we have tried exceeded expectations and service is excellent.

Parking lot behind building. The service is friendly and they are really concerned about doing a good job and getting customer approval. For lunch, I had the chilled noodle/pork salad. For $12, I thought it was a little pricey for New Smyrna Beach. This is the price I would pay in Fort Lauderdale where I live. The salad was warm and delicious. They serve it with a sweet broth that you poor over the noodles/pork. My mom had the meatball/steak pho and enjoyed it. My father had the shrimp/nooldes and my brother had the spicy shrimp dish. All were excellent, but servings were not that large for the price. The décor is nice. I enjoyed the food, but I think they might have a hard time being successful when there are so many cheaper places to dine.

Went in when they were brand new, and was impressed by the quality of the good and great services went in again yesterday and they are awesome. Made us feel very welcomed and all the food was spectacular. Very impressive Pokè bowl, big chunks of fresh tuna etc.. Very refreshing dish and Aa garden fusion was the perfect post-surf chill spot. Oh, they also have awesome Vietnamese style pour-over coffee if you're feeling sleepy. This is place is a New Smyrna gem.
